Yes, you don't quite realise how much you need it until it's taken away. I need a good connection just to survive now. I arrange most of my life by online means. Emails, messenger, blogs, forums... Even hunting for flats, my first reaction is to look online. 

So... now I'm a high-tech hobo. Scrounging open wifi spots for scraps.
